Is it illegal to chain yourself in California?

There's a company that I absolutely hate and I would just like to chain myself to a pole or something in front of them to draw attention to my cause. I don't want to say what company it is but I will just say that what they're doing is wrong and I would like to protest them. I'm not a violent person and I have already tried to talk with them peacefully but they won't respond to anything I try to say to them. So, is it illegal if I was to chain myself in front of their company? Could I get arrested for this? I'm not doing any harm, I just want to send them a message that many people are seriously opposed to their work. Please answer nicely.
